CSH Rotary welcomes Jim Brandon as a new Member to our Club!

CSH Rotary welcomes Brandon Tieso as a new member!
Today is the first meeting of the month therefore we spend the entire meeting working together in teams on our various service projects and important upcoming events.
We have approximately six weeks left to confirm a Secretary for Catherine’s upcoming year as President. Let’s make sure she has a strong team in place to support a successful and impactful term. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get more involved in Rotary and leadership or someone interested in leadership without taking on the President role. This is a position we must fill.
Secretary job duties include (1-3 hours per week):
- Take attendance at weekly meetings
- Take minutes at weekly meetings & share on our website
- Attend board meetings as a voting member
- Take minutes at monthly board meetings
- Maintain member records in ClubRunner
- Work collaboratively with the Treasurer and those in the President track
My Rotary has a training for Secretaries, and our District offers many virtual opportunities to learn more about ClubRunner.
If you are wondering what it's like to be Secretary, Nancy and Jessica have held this role recently.
If you are interested in this position, please let me, John Pane, Catherine Moller, or Dan York know ASAP.
We welcomed two new members today! Brandon Tieso and Jim Brangan
Hank Harder and Jane Kunin from the Shelburne Veterans Committee came to talk with us for just a little bit about an upcoming capitol campaign to raise $100,000 to help service and care for the Shelburne Veterans Monument over the next ten years. On September 14th, the Shelburne Veterans Monument will turn 10! Watch for more information on a ten year celebration party! May 26th is Memorial Day and at 11am the annual ceremony will take place in the village at the Veterans Monument.
