President-Elect Carrie presided over today's meeting to review plans for the upcoming Halloween Parade. Many members stayed afterward to sort 1,200 golf balls into numerical sequence for safe storage until next year.
 

Carrie Fenn, called the meeting to order at 7:30.

 

Nancy Danforth provided the opening words.

 

At today’s meeting our service project packaging all the golf balls back into the egg crates for next year.

 

Ric Flood led the club in the four way test.

 

Per Linda Gilbert and the tractor parade this sunday, volunteers ought to arrive at 12:00 noon. Our club will be at four different locations in the area acting as ambassadors to the crowd.  Meet at Spear’s corner. Bring a chair and wear Rotary.  

 

Richard Fox sent out volunteer sign up via Sign Up Genius for the Halloween Parade.  Participants continue to sign up to be in the parade.  Our club will be led by Charlie Kaufman again in his vintae truck.  There are new publicity signs bringing the total to thirty signs that need to be set up in high profile areas with proper placement.  

 

Per Ric, the pandemic will continue to cancel the car raffle this year.  He will be sending a letter out to the past raffle ticket holders and each member of the club will provide ten names to receive our annual fundraising letters. The first week of November is the target mailing date of these letters.
