Shelburne Veterans’ Memorial – Sam Feitelberg reported that they have raised $73,000. Bricks are on sale at the Farmers’ Market.

Kris Engstrom – Grandsons started school on 8/12

Howard Seaver – Had a great kayaking trip to the Massachusetts North Shore with his daughter Abby and grandson.

Linda Gilbert – Happy to report a glorious swim in the lake at a temperature of 79° and is happy for the nice summer with the super moon.

Chris Davis – Really enjoyed the super moon.

Dennis Webster – Celebrating his 44th anniversary and paid a publicity fine for having been highlighted in the Freep for his recent retirement.

Russ Blodgett – Has just gotten four new chickens. Not sure why.

Michael Clapp – Enjoyed last Sunday with lots of kids around.

Linda Barker – Celebrating 23 years with the same bank and happy for her recent surprise quick trip to California to visit with her granddaughter who celebrated her first birthday.

Ric Flood - For his great trip to Snowmass, Colorado.

Sam Feitelberg – Offered his wife Gail’s services to Russ Blodgett. Apparently Gail is a master (mistress?) in wielding an ax for decapitating chickens. Sam and Gail are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Tod Whitaker – For a great week on Martha’s Vineyard where he caught no fish. He’s off to Maine next week.

Denny Bowen – Will be on Nantucket next week

John Hammer won the draw and picked the Seven of Spades to roll over the pot.

Today was Committee Meetings Day.
