President Judith Christensen report and discussion of Tuesday Board Meeting

Car raffle will be held May 12th, Shelburne Farms, timing is ideal, before graduations, first event of the season for Shelburne Farms

Feed back on speakers --  suggestions for programs might include new Shelburne/Charlotte/Hinesburg businesses and new non-profits programs.

Fund raising discussion:  Presently 3 major fund raisers, loss of revenue this year, Ric Flood gave added perspective by reminding us that we raised $25,000 short $5,000 goal.

Golf Ball Drop – considering change of date and location so that there will be greater visibility, chance to build momentum so the event is fun, establish credibility. Suggestion that we might find a golf ball supplier also better ball storage racks.

Shelburne Day during Farmer’s market could be good better venue for Golf Ball drop.   Halloween has too many activities to add another feature.

Richard Fox suggested that we promote greater awareness of service Rotary provides in our communities and beyond.

Bottom Line:
Service Above Self,

Steve Dates, Past-President of Charlotte Shelburne Rotary and Past District Governor, was presented with his fifth Paul Harris Award
