Wednesday Club Meeting
December 6, 2017
 
Erik opened the meeting at 7:30 AM with the ‘Pledge of Allegiance” to the USA
Followed by an Invocation by Kris
The members and gusts enjoyed breakfast and conversation until the second bell at 7:37 AM
As GS was not there for his assigned minutes day JB volunteered.
 
We started the meeting with the 4 Way Test
1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to ALL concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to ALL concerned?

Carole O called out for contributions to the Rotary International Foundation. The board extended
the club match through December. Suggestions were made from the floor the we become an
‘every member every year’ club. There is no minimum amount and this money can come right
back to our communities. Our members have satisfied the GRANT request requirements but we
do not have a target, yet.
Chris filled the Sergeant at Arms and warned anyone with ‘socks on’ that they owed a dollar.
Happy Fines were abundant. Many members put multiple fines in the basket.
The 50/50 draw was made and It was a ROLLOVER.
There is NOW well over $550 American Green Backs in the pot.
 
Carrie Fenn was introduced by John Hammer
Carrie talked about Renewable Energy 101
She is working for a local Solar Company and presented significant advantages to going
renewal. She had a thorough understanding of costs, various types, environmental
implications, etc…
