Susan introduced two guests: Gail Feitelberg and their granddaughter Jordan and Laura Rice(Zoom).
Ric Flood led the club in the four way test.
The new tee shirts are for sale! $16 each.
Shelburne Day is on August 21, a sign up sheet is being passed around. Linda Gilbert will have a Tela display and Golf Ball Drop tickets will be sold. A “guess the number of golf balls” raffle will take place along with a hole in one contest. The winners will receive a golf ball for the Golf Ball Drop.
The Golf Ball drop committee met at Kwiniaska with Steve Gonsalves. He has a long drive machine for folks to try, coffee and donuts will be sold, there will be a putting green as well. The Fire Department will have the lift truck if Beta is unable to provide the helicopter.
The next RaceVT event is Saturday, September 11 at the Charlotte covered bridge for which eight volunteers are needed.
School food delivery is coming to a close on Monday, August 16th. Fall may bring other opportunities to help at the schools. The cafeteria is not completed so Rotary will still be needed.
An update on the bike station plaque: the committee will follow up with Charlotte and Hinesburg for station locations. The Shelburne plaque will be dedicated to Mac Keyser, an avid biker and long time Shelburne resident.

Laurie Burke introduced Laura Rice. Laura is a native of Vermont and was a Human Resources major. Her full time job is at Epic Wellness Chiropractic where she administers the office.
During the pandemic and while working from home, Laura began working on her dream of owning her own business. She opened an online childrens clothing and gifts store. Her full time job is at Epic Wellness in South Burlington as the front desk administrator. Epic Wellness opened ten years ago. The owner sought patients who did not have intense pain before seeking chiropractic. Began by going into work places doing chair massages and ergonomics. Laura is the front desk administrator.
She began her dream job by opening her own business in Charlotte in 2020. She noticed she was always seeking good quality childrens clothing. She discovered and now stocks two brands in her inventory and is close to signing with two more. She also sells gifts such as games,etc. She does pop up shops and will be at The Trading Post in the University Mall for the next three weeks. Laura also uses the website to raise money for charitable organizations locally via her online presence.
The club will donate “How To Draw Everything” to the Charlotte Library as presented by Jim Donovan.
