President Dan York presents Age Well Director of Business Development and Communications Tracey Shamberger the book "Forever Strong" to be donated to a local library in her name. 
Dan welcomed our guests, Greg Larsen, John Clifford and Tracey Schamberger from Age Well.
 
July 3 - No meeting
 
The Howard Center advised Dan they are ready for some garden tables and picnic tables at their new facility on Shelburne Road. A small group of members expressed interest in helping with this project. 
 
Carol Georges presented two new members: Harriet Mace and Greg Larson. Greg is a local realtor who and Harriet is former owner of Mace Engravers.  Both have joined our Rotary Club to help their communities.
 
July 6 is the next CSH Rotary Shelburne Farmer’s Market tent, plan to have golf ball tickets and online sales available that day!
 
Harriet presented the idea to bring food and toiletry items to our weekly (designated weeks) meetings as a service project to be delivered to local food shelves, etc.
 
Jon Hammer introduced Tracey Schamberger from Age Well.
 
Tracy shared a video about their most popular program: Meals on Wheels.
 
Age Well performed two thousan safety checks last year that resulted in saving lives.  Eleven hundred volunteers make this happen.
 
Their help line received twenty thousand calls last year.  This service provides information to families who need support of various kinds, linking organizations and services.
 
Other areas Age Well works is Case management (50% of their staff), Clinical services, Self Neglect, Caregiver Support,  Community Meals & Restaurant Ticket Program, Wellness Offerings, and the Volunteer Program.
 
The ten million dollar budget comes from federal funding and community support.
 
Dan presented the book “Forever Strong” by Dr. Gabrielle Lyon to be presented to one of the three libraries in her name.
