Ric Flood introduced Karen Medsker as the newest member of the CSH Rotary Club! Karen has lived in Shelburne for twenty nine years with her husband and is a realtor for Keller Williams.
Pie Day is Saturday March 16 from 8:00 am to 12:00. Volunteers from the club will meet Friday night at the Shelburne Community School at 6:00 to set up for Saturday morning. The band The Ridge Runners will entertain from 8 to 11 and the McFadden Dance Academy will dance between 11 and 12. Social media is available to share and a poster we can hang up in the community will be available today via email. The cost will be $10 per person this year, the family rate has been eliminated. A supply inventory will need to be conducted and Sophie is donating a variety of paper products and a coffee maker.
The club decided to commit to providing the non profit tent again this year from May through October! Our club will occupy the tent once a month as well. Volunteers did raise their hands for putting up and taking down the tent, at 8:30 and 2:00. Take down appears to be the challenging part so we can request the occupant take down the tent and/or see if the non profit has their own equipment. We do need help with this piece.
May 10 is the Non Car raffle! Door prizes, calcutta balls and $10 raffle tickets will need to be sold!! Volunteers are also required for a variety of jobs.
